High School Confirmation (Grades 9-12)
The Sacrament of Confirmation is a one year program. Sessions take place during sophomore year of high school and begin in September of each year. For more information, take a look at our materials, calendars, and forms below!
Confirmation Alternative Virtual Retreat Option
Each teen must complete the retreat with their sponsor. We prefer that the sponsor be present in person for them to have the best experience together, but of course, if that’s not possible, other means may be used to include them in the retreat experience (zoom, face time, etc.)
The retreat must be completed by May 16th and the completed discussion guide from the retreat needs to be turned in to the youth ministry office as proof of completion.

The Catechism's section on Confirmation says that Confirmation is the special outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Its effects are to:
- Root us more deeply in divine filiation (being children of God)
- Unites us more firmly to Christ
- Increases the gifts of the Holy Spirit in us
- Strengthens our bond with the Church
- Associates us more closely to her mission of bearing witness to Christ
- Helps us and more strictly obliges us to spread and defend the faith by word and deed
Confirmation's effect: it configures us for a full & active mission of service to Christ.
Adult Confirmation (Ages 18+)
On April 25, Holy Spirit will offer preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation for adults who were baptized in the Catholic Church. The preparation session will run from 3:00-4:30 PM on Zoom. Participants will be asked to do some preparation online beforehand.
