Ramps Ministry

Do you have building skills that you would like to volunteer for the good of someone in need? Join us in the ramps ministry! We are building a new wheelchair ramp on Saturday June 19th and Saturday June 26th for an elderly woman in Indianapolis who desperately needs access into and out of her home and cannot afford to have a ramp built. We are looking for many hands and new faces for this incredibly rewarding effort. Let Christ work through you!

The RAMPS ministry is an Outreach program that helps Jesus answer mobility prayers for poor and disabled members of the Fishers-Noblesville-Indianapolis area communities. We need volunteers to help HSP Ramps plan, purchase and build wooden wheelchair ramps under the direction of a highly motivated (and marginally skilled) team. Volunteers over 15 years of age who enjoy working outside- with or without skills, are invited to share their time and talents. Please come out and help us be the hands and feet of Christ for some of those who have trouble using their own.

Gift of Time: We meet year-round, on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Parish Life Center, and build on weekends in Spring, Summer and Fall. Build teams are needed to work 4-hour shifts on build days.

Training: Experience is desired, but not required. We'll show you the ropes and hopefully keep you safe.
