Dayspring Birthday Party
Your help is needed on the last Sunday of the month as Holy Spirit Parish hosts a birthday party for children residing at the Day Spring Homeless Shelter.
The parish supplies the cake, ice cream, drinks, and a small gift for the children. We set up tables with Legos, play doh,face painting, beads for jewelry making and a table to reflect a seasonal craft.
Set up starts at 2:30 pm. The party is from 3:00-4:00. 15 minutes for cleanup after the party.
Dayspring Homeless Shelter is located in the rear of All Saints Episcopal Church at 1559 Central Ave. in Indianapolis.
Dayspring is a transitional shelter where families can stay for up to three months. Each family is assigned one room. All that is needed is a willingness to give your time, share your God given spirit and a smile. All family members are encourages to participate.
This is a great opportunity for credit hours for Confirmation candidates.
