Holy Spirit Parish at Geist Mass Sanctuary-Alter

Nursery

What: Noah’s Place is a co-op/volunteer based baby-sitting service available to all families. Our purpose is to provide a loving and safe environment for children while their parents attend mass.

Who: Children ages ~15 months (steadily walking) – 5 years (Pre-K) Families that are new to the nursery are welcome to try out Noah’s Place before registering.

When: Sundays at 9:30am and 11:00am

How: Parents may register their children during drop off. There is a $10 cash only fee per family to be collected annually, in January. A $1 donation per child will also be collected weekly. The nursery is co-managed by volunteers; these fees and donations help us provide a small snack, activity and any necessary supplies or equipment. We will be keeping a running log of all fees and donations collected and a list of what the money is used for.

Gift of Time: Parents are asked to volunteer and work during one Mass every 2-3 months, depending upon the number of families enrolled. We maintain a ratio of one adult to six children.

We love volunteers! Anyone interested in lending a helping hand is welcome to join us at either mass. If you prefer, we have a sign up sheet in the nursery.

Contact: If you would like more information please stop by the nursery on Sunday mornings between 9am and noon. Or call/text Natalie Jensen at 217-652-7010
