Wrap Them In Love

During this Easter season, you may find yourself looking for a way to reach out and share God’s love with others. Do you know how to knit or crochet? Would you like to learn how?

It is easier than you think! New members to the Shawl Ministry are always welcome and needed.

Prayer Shawls are lovingly made to be given to those experiencing such circumstances as undergoing medical procedures, as a comfort after a loss or in times of stress, during bereavement or an illness and recovery. The person who will receive the shawl is prayed for while the shawl is being made that the recipient will receive the blessings of comfort, peace, and wholeness, the gift of warmth, and the knowledge that they are loved. When the shawl is completed it is blessed by the ministry and sent on its way.

Please consider joining us on Thursdays in Room 52 of the PLC. We gather at 6:30 pm and end by 8:00 pm. To request a shawl for someone, or to learn more about the ministry, call Heather Carson at 845-7711 or Renae Weghorst at 770-0325. We hope to see you soon!
