Sacristan

The Sacristan enlivens the parish worship area by proper visual and physical preparation of space.  The Sacristan does all that is necessary to keep the sanctuary and sacristy clean and orderly for Mass: changing the Holy water, filling the candles, dusting church, chapel and gathering space; also pus everything back in order after wedding celebrations on the weekend.

Gift of Time:  4 hours per month and quarterly meeting to organize who is cleaning every 2 weeks.  The gift of time for the weekend weddings 1 1/2 to 3 hours depending upon the number of weddings.

Training:  No formal training for cleaning, just some procedural things for weddings.
