Parish Nurse

A new ministry to the parish, we need healthcare professionals who would be available to provide various health education programs, resource references and counseling when needed.  The parish nurses have an office in the Parish Life Center.

Gift of Time:  The time commitment can vary.  Offer as little or as much time as you wish to give.  The office is opened Wed. and Fri. and also on the evenings during RCIA and Life Teen.  The nurses also run a blood pressure clinic one day a month after the Sat. 5:30 Mass and the Sunday 9:00 and 9:30  Masses.

Training:  A semester course is offered at the University of Indianapolis 2 hours per week for 8 weeks.  Then, they facilitate for 8 weeks /2 hours per week.

CPR classes are offered as needed and the Safe Sitter classes are held in 6 hour sessions.
